Colby College
In collaboration with IDEAs in Music, Crescendo for a Cause: Colby Undergraduate Chapter is an organization at Colby College that is focused on supporting Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Music across the state of Maine and beyond. We aim to increase access to musical opportunities at Colby College, the surrounding community, and beyond.
Some of our activities include a music mentorship program at Waterville Schools (on-on-one and helping out with group rehearsals), one-on-one piano mentorship lessons at Colby on weekends, monthly meetings to discuss topics around accessibility to music, and performances at local venues in the community.
